Help

When I select ‘Turn off images’ in the web-based proxy, some images are still displayed.

This function will only remove the HTML code for <img> tags. Some websites may display images in the form of a background image inside a <div> tag. While it is possible to remove these as well, we have decided against it because <div> tags more often than not make up a web page’s design, and removing the background images will render the text inside them unreadable.

If you absolutely do not want to see any images, you can use the ‘Printer friendly mode’ in conjunction with ‘Turn off images’. ‘Printer friendly mode’ removes all backgrounds, makes them white, and makes all text black.
