Terms of Service

Please review and agree to the following terms of service before subscribing to our service. Your continued use of this website and service beyond this page signifies acceptance of these terms. “Proxylicious” refers to this website, located at http://www.proxylicious.net, provided by Stomp Creative Networks (“we”, “us, “our”).

General provisions

1. Definition of service
   Proxylicious provides users with a web-based and SOCKS-based proxy. A proxy acts as an intermediary between a client’s requests to a server.
2. Free trial
   Users that are not subscribers have the ability to trial the web-based proxy service for a predefined amount of uses before being directed to a subscription page. Subscribers do not experience these limitations.
3. Subscribers
   Proxylicious will provide paying customers with access to both a web-based and SOCKS-based proxy.

Limitations

1. Web-based proxy
   Due to the nature of the page-rewriting technology, Proxylicious does not guarantee compatibility with all websites and online services. We will, however make our best efforts to improve the technology to better accommodate users when able.
2. Bandwidth limit
   As Proxylicious is designed primarily for web browsing, a bandwidth limit of 100 kilobytes per second has been implemented for both the web-based and SOCKS-based proxy services.
3. Data transfer limit
   Users who transfer an excess of 50 gigabytes per calendar month will have their access suspended until the following calendar month.
4. Number of simultaneous connections
   Proxylicious, via our SOCKS proxy servers, will provide a maximum of 25 simultaneous connections. This has been implemented to hinder account sharing.
5. Ports and third party filtering
   Customers are advised that it is their responsibility to check that the ports Proxylicious uses (1080, 8080 and 443) are open and available on their network.
   
   Users are also reminded that while we do not publically publish a list of servers that we operate, it is entirely possible for them to be blocked by network administrators and do not guarantee availability on your network.
6. Free trial
   The free trial of the Proxylicious web-based proxy offered to clients has limited uses available before redirecting to a subscription page. The amount of uses is calculated based on the user’s IP address and may be restricted prematurely depending on the client’s network topology. Proxylicious will not make exceptions if the trial usage is calculated erroneously and encourages anyone affected by this to become a subscriber, who do not see these restrictions. Free users will also experience a file size limit of 1 megabyte before being automatically cut off by the system.

Availability

1. Availability of service
   While we will the very best efforts to ensure availability of our service, Proxylicious does not guarantee constant availability of our website, web-based or SOCKS-based proxy services.
2. Refund or compensation
   Proxylicious does not offer full or partial refunds for service unavailability, technical limitations or compensation for any losses whatsoever, including productivity, property or monetary losses or damages.

Subscription

1. Definition of service
   Proxylicious offers users a web-based and SOCKS-based proxy upon receipt of established subscription costs.
2. Duration
   A subscription entails you to the proxies for the amount of time selected upon subscribing:
    - Annual: 1 calendar year
    - Bi-annual: 6 calendar months
    - Quarterly: 3 calendar months
    - Monthly: 1 calendar month
3. Automatic renewal
   A subscription will automatically renew unless a cancellation notice is received prior to the renewal date. Upon cancellation, your access will remain available until expiring after the pre-agreed subscription duration.

User agreement

Customers who infringe on the following terms may find their access suspended without refund.

1. Proxylicious may not be used for the following:
    - Unlawful or illegal acts including the transfer of illegal material
    - Communication with minors in such a manner that is prohibited by law
    - Violation of intellectual property rights of another
    - Spamming and the transmission of unsolicited email
    - Transfer of large files. A limit of 100 kilobytes per second has been implemented in both the web-based and SOCKS-based proxy.
    - To transmit any unlawful, harassing, abusive or hateful material
    - To evade blocking put in place by third party websites, for example a discussion forum which you have been banned from.
    - Any act that causes unnecessary burden, disables or hindrances performance of any server or network or interferes with any other party’s usage of this website.
2. Account sharing
   Proxylicious reserves the right to suspend any accounts without refund that are detected to have being used by persons other than the account owner. Users are obligated not to share their username and password with any third parties.

Changes to this document

This document is subject to change and it is your responsibility to review it periodically. We will notify subscribers when we make changes to our Terms and Conditions.
